Products & Services

Onicol offers a broad array of services that leverage our network of medical experts. Claims Management requires a highly structured and efficient system that empowers participating experts to more easily and efficiently review claims and render opinions to our Clients. The Company invests significant resources in the systems and infrastructure required to automate much of the Claims Management process. That automation produces an enormous data set from the metadata that is appended to each case review. This metadata in turn enables Onicol to perform more detailed and accurate actuarial analyzes that are provided as a stand alone Data and Actuarial System. Onicol's System enhances existing business lines or serves as a cornerstone for underwriting medical malpractice insurance.

Onicol's Risk Management services integrate standard operating procedures for managed care services with malpractice risk management. Onicol's team has over 10 years experience reviewing and authorizing thousands of procedures that follow well defined protocols and pathways created and approved by our Medical Experts. These same protocols and pathways, when integrated with risk management systems, allow our clients to significantly reduce risk by proactively placing seamless checks and controls in the diagnosis and treatment of individual patients. This type of risk management far exceeds simple procedures such as patient consent.

Research shows that our approach to better manage claims is strongly supported by both the malpractice industry, those they insure (Physicians and Hospitals) and litigation firms. The Company's Management Team has years of experience auditing medical treatment cases and serving as experts and we strongly believe that leveraging today's technology to automate the expert's review is the key to recruiting the best experts and efficiently bringing their expertise to our clients.
